The visitor/customer (hereinafter visitor) of the website is informed by means of this data protection declaration how the Arthur Murray Dance Center Zurich (hereinafter AM) deals with the collection, use, transfer, storage and protection of the user's personal data. This data protection declaration applies to the website www.arthurmurray.ch .

 

By using the website, the visitor accepts this data protection declaration and agrees to the collection, storage, processing, use, disclosure and protection of his personal data. The visitor can revoke his consent at any time with effect for the future.

 

If the visitor does not provide the required data, it is possible that he/she cannot use the entire range of the website.

    “Personal Information” means information that can be associated with, or used to identify, a specific individual, whether that association or identification is based directly on that data or on the basis of that and other additional information to which AM has access Has.

     

  3. The collection and processing of personal data helps AM to improve and optimize its website.

    a) 
    When visiting
    www.arthurmurray.ch
    When the visitor visits the website, the following general technical visit information is collected in so-called log files:

    –  IP address of the device used from which the visit is made
    –  browser type information

    –  Internet Service Provider Details
    –  Information on the operating system used
    –  origin and exit pages
    –  Time and duration of the visit
    –  location data (especially when using mobile devices)
    On most mobile devices, the use of location services can be controlled or disabled in the mobile device's settings menu.

    b) Inquiry, contact and registration

    The visitor can use the
    contact form to send an inquiry to AM or request further information.
    It is mandatory to provide the following data:

    –  surname
    –  email address

      use of analysis tools
    AM uses analytics tools on its website to collect data about how the visitor interacts with the website, links that the visitor clicks on and other actions that the visitor takes within the scope of AM's services. Further information on the use of the mentioned technology by AM and how it is used can be found under Section 7 of this data protection declaration.

    d)  consent
    By providing mandatory and any other optional data, the visitor agrees to their collection, processing, use and disclosure within the scope of the purposes described in this data protection declaration.

     

  4. Disclosure of Data to Third Parties
    The transfer of data to third parties takes place insofar as this is necessary for the execution of the contract. AM does not trade or sell personal information. AM only shares the information it receives with third parties to the extent described below:
    –   Protection of AM and Third Parties: AM discloses customer accounts and personal information about visitors if it is required to do so by law, or if such disclosure is necessary to enforce AM's Terms of Service or other agreements, or to protect their rights as well as the rights of their visitors and those of third parties. This personal data is also only used in the contexts mentioned and may not be used for other purposes.
    –  With visitor's consent: In all other cases, AM will inform the visitor if personal information is to be shared with third parties and the visitor will be given the opportunity to give their consent.

     

  5. Duration of storage of personal data and their deletion
    The personal data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for the fulfillment of the purpose collected, e.g. as part of a contractual relationship. At best, the data will only be blocked if it cannot be deleted for legal or factual reasons (e.g. storage obligations due to tax regulations). If the visitor moves on the website, the data collected under Section 3 lit. a) will be automatically deleted after 365 days. The data collected from visitors in accordance with Section 3 lit. b) remains stored until the request has been processed.

    AM protects the data of its visitors by technical and organizational security measures in order to minimize risks related to their loss, misuse, unauthorized access, unauthorized disclosure and alteration. Firewalls and data encryption, for example, but also authorization controls for data access are used for this purpose.

    AM uses so-called tracking technologies to constantly improve and optimize the website. This includes in particular Google Analytics and similar programs. The analysis tools provide statistics and graphics that provide information about the use of the website. The data about the use of an Internet site is transmitted to the server used for this purpose. Depending on the provider of a web analysis tool, these servers may be located abroad. For Google Analytics, this data is transmitted including shortened IP addresses, which prevents the identification of individual devices. The IP address transmitted by the customer's browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. A transfer of this data by Google to third parties only takes place due to legal regulations or in the context of order data processing.

    The user can prevent the data generated by cookies and related to his use of the website (including your IP address) from being sent to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading the browser plug-in available under the following link and installed

  8. Visitor Rights

    a) In general

    –  Visitors can request information about what data is stored about them at any time.
    –  He can request the correction, deletion and blocking of his personal data as long as this is legally permissible and possible within the framework of an existing contractual relationship. He can assert these rights via the address given under item 1.

    b) Withdrawal of consent

    The visitor can revoke his consent to the collection, processing, use and disclosure of his personal data in accordance with this data protection declaration at any time. However, AM may no longer be able to provide the visitor with full access to

  9. Modification of this privacy policy
    AM is entitled to change this privacy policy at any time. The amended Privacy Policy will be posted on the Website and the Visitor is advised to consult it from time to time in order to be kept up to date. AM reserves the right to inform the customer via e-mail in the event of significant changes to the data protection declaration.
